Lidl wants to increase its Hungarian supplier rate to 60 percent
Lidl wants to increase the Hungarian supplier rate to 60 percent from the current 54 percent until the end of 2014, in the scope of its; for the Hungarian suppliers program – Grósz Jenő, Lidl Hungary’s Chairman of the Board told at Tuesday's press conference.
The 157 Lidl stores in Hungary had a turnover of 186 billion HUF last year of which nearly 100 billion HUF, (54 percent) revenue came from the sales of the products of Hungarian suppliers.
The company's current product portfolio consists of 1400 items, including 810 kind of products of 200 Hungarian suppliers – the Chairman of the Board added.
