Inflation highest in Latvia
Inflation averaged 4.3 percent in the 27 EU member states in the June 2007 – June 2008 period. It was lowest in the Netherlands with 2.3 percent and highest in Latvia with 17.5 percent and in Bulgaria (14.7 percent). Inflation in Hungary was 6.6 percent.
