Most of the Hungarian have never met with black market cigarettes
According to the majority of Hungarians the main problem of contraband cigarettes is not that the state generates less income tax, but the quality of these products are not controlled – portfolio.hu quotes the assessment of Eurtobarométer. It is even more interesting that the majority of Hungarians – according to their own admission – have not seen a black market cigarettes yet.
Seventy percent of Hungarians – according to their own admission – have never met black market cigarettes. This ratio is lower than the EU’s 79 percent. Another 19 percent replied that dealers tried to sell cigarettes illegally to them, but rarely about once a month. Only two percent of the respondents said that at dealers tried to sell cigarettes illegally to them several times a week. (Portfolio.hu)
