Most of the foreign visitors were Russian in Héviz last year

Compared to the previous year, the Russian guests dominated in Héviz in 2014, where a total of almost 1.1 million overnight stays were registered last year – the mayor of the city told at a press conference on Thursday.

Papp Gábor (Fidesz-KDNP) said that among the tourists visiting the city still the Hungarians are dominating, folowed by the Russian tourists, the Germans and the Austrians.

On the basis of the tourism tax 1 million 66 thousand guest nights were spent in Héviz last year, 983 thousand at commercial accommodation, 80 thousand at room renters. (MTI)
