Among the most marketable e-retailers is the Praktiker online store
The online store of the Hungarian-owned Praktiker has received another prestigious recognition. The online interface of the do-it-yourself store, which has a dominant position in the domestic market, was ranked by the Digital Trade Association, Ecommerce Hungary, and Growwww Digital as one of the most globally marketable players in domestic e-commerce with the HungarEcomm Stars award, founded in 2024.
Praktiker’s online store was recognized with another prestigious professional award, and thus the decisive role played by the Hungarian DIY store chain in the domestic e-commerce market. The HungarEcomm Stars award, established this year, was awarded by the Digital Trade Association, Ecommerce Hungary and Growwww Digital to reliable, ethical, Hungarian-majority-owned e-retailers whose annual online sales exceed HUF one billion and whose economic stability, digital competence, and thanks to their effective market strategy, they can be competitive on the international market as well. Based on economic, professional and market scores, Praktiker was among those who, according to the profession, could be the flagship of Hungarian e-commerce in the future, and thus set an example for other market participants.
Ádám Sommer, Praktiker’s director of marketing and online services, emphasized: the award he just received is a recognition of thoughtful planning and great teamwork, which also shows that Praktiker has been able to stand up confidently for years in the growing e-commerce competition. This is also due to constant improvements and the improvement of the customer experience. The most important change this year is the renewal of the loyalty program: the application has been developed in connection with the Praktiker Plusz Loyalty program, in which, in addition to special unique offers, customers are also offered free services and prize games. User feedback is also positive: downloaders rated the app among the best in the last two years. The importance of the mobile application is also supported by the fact that more than 1 million people use it every year, and a significant proportion of the downloaders are registrants and buyers.
