LG UltraGear monitors play a central role at the most important European gaming events
This summer, LG Electronics (LG) will take its market-leading UltraGear™ gaming monitors to two of Europe’s largest gaming industry events: the company’s displays will play a central role at Gamescom 2024 and the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC 2024).
Gamescom 2024
At Gamescom 2024, Europe’s largest video game exhibition, held in Cologne from August 21 to 25, LG set up a special stand to showcase the UltraGear brand. Attracting around 370,000 visitors each year, Gamescom is one of the most important events in the gaming industry, where game developers and hardware manufacturers from all over the world come to present their latest offerings.
Visitors to LG’s UltraGear stand can experience the unparalleled visual world of the brand’s impressive OLED gaming monitors. Available in screen sizes of 45, 39, 34, 32 and 27 inches, LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitors feature cutting-edge Micro Lens Array Plus (MLA+) technology, VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 400 certification, and 1300 nits of peak brightness. The 32-inch LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitor (model 32GS95UE) is also LG’s first VESA-certified so-called dual-mode display, which allows users to seamlessly switch between 4K UHD resolution at 240Hz and 1080p FHD resolution at 480Hz. between image refresh rates.
LEC 2024
LG UltraGear gaming monitors have become the official gaming monitors of the LEC 2024 summer season. In the final round taking place in Munich from August 31st to September 1st, the best teams will be able to fight for victory on LG UltraGear gaming monitors.
During the LEC 2024 finals, LG’s UltraGear gaming monitors will be on display at the League of Legends developer Riot Games’ pop-up exhibition. At the pop-up exhibition on Odeonsplatz in the heart of downtown Munich, visitors will have the opportunity to try out some of Riot Games’ latest games on LG’s premium gaming screens. The products will include the 27-inch LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitor (model 27GS95QE), which ensures smooth gaming with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms Gray-to-Gray response time. Gaming enthusiasts and curious passers-by alike can drop by the exhibition to experience first-hand why LG UltraGear monitors have become a favorite of many of the world’s top gamers.
