Household consumption fueled French economic growth
France’s economy grew more than expected in the third quarter, driven by strong domestic demand, according to data released on Wednesday by the French Bureau of Statistics (Insee).
According to the first estimate, France’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 0.3 percent in the July to September quarter, as did in the first two quarters. Analysts expected 0.2 percent growth in the third quarter. (MTI)
