Nearly half of the extra taxes are paid by the consumers
The LeitnerLeitner has published its comprehensive study on the special taxes that are in force in Hungary.
The authors found that the level of extra taxes amounted to the level of the corporate income tax, but because these taxes affect a narrower range of businesses, these taxes are giving them a serious strain. The study proves, that contrary to the intention of the legislators the taxes are added to the prices of the services, so at the end the consumers and other sectors also bear the burden.
