Half or third of the special taxes may remain
After the expiry of the crisis taxes, the Prime Minister would rethink the role of the large companies in the distribution of public burdens. The government would take the half, or third of the current charges, from the concerned sectors after 2012 – said Orbán Viktor, Prime Minister on Thursday.
On Wednesday it was turn out that the government, contrary to its earlier promises the special taxes will not disappear after 2012. According to an outlook relating to the budget; the bank tax imposed to the financial sector will be halved from this year’s and next year's 187 billion HUF in 2012. The state would continue to take 93.5 billion HUF in 2013 and 2014 – reports Index.
