90 percent of corn was sown in Zala County
The sowing of sunflowers in Zala County has been completed, and more than 90 percent of the corn sown area has been sown, the county president of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) told MTI.
The county produces 9,420 hectares of sunflower and 27,080 hectares of corn. Farmers sowed 98 percent of the 6,000-hectare soybeans, and a smaller area will sow fodder peas, alfalfa, buckwheat, oil pumpkin, silage and grain circus, and sweet corn, explained Sabján Krisztián. (MTI)
