A quarter of the Earth’s population is facing critical water shortages
Seventeen countries, mostly in Africa and the Middle East, are already experiencing one of the most cruel symptoms of climate change, extreme water shortage – privatbankar.hu wrote.
According to a recent study, many cities around the world are getting close to the “zero day” – the day when they simply run out of drinking water. Europe is not safe either: Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal and Belgium are already at very high risk of water scarcity. (privatbankar.hu)
