The annual market of hair removal products is above HUF 1 billion. Retail turnover diminished by 2 percent in value and by 8 percent in volume last year – states the Nielsen Retail Index. Creams realised 50 percent of retail sales and waxing strips were at 32 percent. Average prices per bottle grew by 7 percent to HUF 851. Drugstores sold 63 percent of hair removal products; private labels share was 8-9 percent.
