According to the recent analysys of GfK Hungária; between 2011 and 2020, the mini-chains will decline gradually, the growth of supermarkets and discounts is expected.
The market share of hypermarket is expected to be 23 percent in 2011, remaining on the 2010 levels. Until 2020 this ratio will be 24 percent. An increase can be forecasted on the market of the supermarkets, since many commercial chains have expansionist policy in this channel. Their market share will reach 25 percent in 2020.
