Hungarians worry the most about environmental pollution
Climate change and environmental pollution are considered to be one of the greatest societal challenges for those seven countries who have been asked by E.ON for a representative research. The survey also revealed that four out of five Hungarians were trying to do something against the greenhouse effect with their own devices.
In November this year E.ON commissioned 7,000 people in seven European countries to ask what they currently consider as the biggest societal challenges among climate change, environmental pollution, war and poverty. The list of Hungarians, Czechs and Swedes are led by environmental pollution, British and Romanians are concerned about poverty, while the Germans and Italians considers climate change as the worst problem.
