After the completion of the Rural Development Program, the Ministry continuously announces calls for tenders according to the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy. For the 150 billion forint call entitled “Support for the development of livestock farms”, the maximum amount of funds that can be obtained is 5 billion forints, and for the 50 billion forint “Support for the renewal of animal farms” call, the maximum amount is 200 million forints. The government aims to ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of the sector.
Dr. Beáta Olga Felkai emphasized that funds are also available for the preservation of genetic resources
As in the past, 14 indigenous poultry breeds will be eligible for support, including the white Hungarian duck, the variegated Hungarian duck, the Hungarian goose and the Hungarian goose with ruffled feathers.
