The government has revealed when they would decide about food price caps
While László Parragh, the president of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK), has already discussed the end of price caps in the past few days, the Ministry of Agriculture wrote to ATV Hírado that the food price cap is valid until April 30, and further decisions will be made in April.
According to László Molnár, the CEO of GKI, if László Parragh talks about the exit, it is obvious that the government is already thinking about the measure.
According to the experts, the price cap has become unsustainable, and László Molnár also believes that there are many arguments in favor of its elimination, mainly that there is a shortage of goods.
