The government decided to help the farmers

The government decided on the mitigation of drought damages on Wednesday's meeting, especially about the solving of the feed market troubles and about the curing of the situation of the gyulai Húskombinát – said government spokesman Giró-Szász András on Wednesday in Budapest, at a press conference.

Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Rural Development, told that this year's drought years will test the farmers, especially the livestock breeders. Therefore, the government decided over an additional 10 billion HUF support to help the farmers, so a total of 23 billion HUF welfare aid will be paid out this year, which will improve the situation of farmers.
