The government aims to strengthen local producers even after the pandemic
Nagy István spoke at the ceremonial handover of the market that in 2012 the government introduced the concept of a producer market to stimulate local economies and supported the development of markets, so that by 2020 the number of markets had almost tripled. In 2012, there were 117 producer markets, while at the end of last year there were already 324 producer markets in the country, he added. (MTI)
