Circular transition more urgent than ever
The Circular Economy Summit in Budapest has highlighted that rising global material use is responsible for more than half of climate impacts, making the transition to a circular economy unavoidable.

It was emphasised that only systemic change, new business models and strong collaboration across value chains can reverse the decline in circularity, now at just 6.9%. The event showcased international best practices, Hungarian policy directions and corporate innovations and also hosted the “Tulip Award for Sustainability,” which this year rewarded SSH System Kft. for its renewable, energy-efficient straw-insulation solution.
