A third of SMEs use artificial intelligence in their marketing
At the beginning of the year, when artificial intelligence (AI) became widely available to small and medium-sized businesses, no one expected that the new technology would spread so quickly. According to a recent research, every third SME now uses AI for marketing purposes, making the tool quickly one of the most popular marketing tools.
Marketing Commando has been tracking the use of marketing tools in the SME sector since 2009. According to their latest research, Facebook will lead the list again in 2023, for the fifth year as the most popular marketing tool for SMEs. Then comes the website in second place, followed by Google, the latter improving one place compared to the previous year.

Instagram, making offers, newsletters and recommendations continue to play a decisive role in the marketing toolbox of SMEs, MI, which debuted in February, immediately jumped to ninth place. The blog took tenth place this year.
