Budapest-founded, London-based Vergil AI may enter a new phase in 2026: after its success with large enterprises, the startup plans to bring its AI‑powered corporate learning platform, Vergil Learn, to small and medium‑sized businesses as well.

Vergil AI’s proprietary technology, the Vergil Knowledge Graph, automatically transforms existing training materials into interactive courses, creating an adaptive learning experience and measuring employees’ real knowledge levels in real time. Instead of merely tracking course completion, the system also assesses whether users have actually understood the material. As a result, the solution positions itself not as a traditional LMS, but as a specialised “knowledge retention layer” that steps in where existing systems fall short.

According to co‑founder and CEO Dániel Papp, it is increasingly clear that such solutions are in high demand not only among large enterprises but also within SMEs. These companies typically lack the resources and capacity to operate complex, enterprise‑grade learning systems, so Vergil’s goal for 2026 is to make its platform accessible to them as well.

Current development efforts focus on enabling smaller companies to easily and intuitively create interactive courses, make them available to employees, and gain detailed insights into the learning process. The platform can support onboarding, skills development, knowledge transfer, and the delivery of mandatory training.

The company is currently focusing on the Central European region, but plans also include expansion into Western Europe and the United States.
