Curiosity inspires the visitors of the wine festivals
Hungarian customers mainly visit wine festivals in order to taste unknown wines and to explore unknown wineries – the online survey of Borászportál.hu shows.
In the survey sent to MTI on Friday, 14 thousand internet users took part in April and in May 2013. As the authors point out, the datas can not be considered as representative to the entire population, however the large sample reflects the opinion of the internet users.
Nearly three-quarters of the respondents said that the most important thing for them is to taste unknown wines and discover new wineries. An important aspect for the third of the visitors to meet with friends, the atmosphere and the direct encounter with the winemakers as well. Only 15 percent said that the related services – such as concerts – are crucial for them. (MTI)
