Retail: 660 billion HUF revenues from food in half year
The retail trade turnover has remained stable in Nielsen’s continuously measured 90 food categories between December 2012 and May 2013, compared to the previous similar period.
During the period, the turnover of retail remained stable, an approximately 660 billion HUF. In terms of volume, shops sold 3 percent less than a year ago – shows the Retail Index of the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company.
In terms of value, mineral water, chocolate bars, biscuits, wafer, vodka and flour have reached an at least 3 percent increase in sales.
