From today, K&H mobile banking can also be used by customers who do not have a bank account but have a SZÉP card.
Thanks to the new digital development, K&H mobile banking can now also be enjoyed by customers who only have a SZÉP card and do not have a bank account with the bank. The change means that “SZÉP card only” customers can now manage their cards on the same modern, secure mobile interface as account-based customers – without opening a separate bank account.
Until now, customers who did not have a K&H bank account but had a K&H SZÉP card did not have access to the mobile bank, and SZÉP card-related transactions were only available to them on the web interface. With the new solution, you can now easily pay anywhere, anytime – the card appears in K&H mobile banking, so the cardholder can access all card-related information easily and quickly in one place. You can view your current balance, transaction history, list of acceptance points in either list or map view, initiate a payment for an accommodation reservation, or easily change your password with a few clicks. The mobile banking experience is thus fully available to them in terms of functions that do not require a bank account or traditional bank card.
The development also enables the digitalization of the card: the K&H SZÉP card can be simply added to the wallet application, making payment even more convenient; we no longer need to carry the physical card with us, our smartphone is enough for payment. However, it is important that in the absence of a bank account, only the functions related to the SZÉP card can be used for financial transactions; other banking operations are not available, only after opening an account.
K&H SZÉP cardholders who have an electronic channel contract can access the mobile bank. This contract allows the customer to use digital banking services – such as mobile banking.
After logging in, customers arrive at the mobile banking products page, where the K&H SZÉP card is clearly displayed, while other products are of course only available after opening an account. The new solution provides tangible benefits in everyday life: faster administration, digital payments, more transparent card management and a unified banking interface. Customers who only have a K&H SZÉP card can therefore conduct their affairs in the same modern, secure mobile banking environment as account-based customers.
