K&H Bank won the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2025 “Best Digital Bank” award in Hungary
Budapest, July 21, 2025 – K&H Group has won this award from Euromoney for two consecutive years, in recognition of its comprehensive strategy for digital developments and its implementation that ensures an outstanding customer experience.
Last year, K&H’s customer base exceeded 1 million people, while the proportion of digitally active people increased to 77 percent and the number of mobile banking users to 700 thousand. 60 percent of new retail accounts are now opened digitally.
Kate in the spotlight
The digital financial assistant, Kate, is a key player in the success: she has had over two million conversations and now helps not only retail customers but also SME customers, with personalized answers and the ability to initiate transactions. Four-fifths of customers have already contacted her, and one-eighth of mobile banking users use her regularly.
Beyond traditional banking
In addition to the banking and insurance services available in the K&H mobile app – such as mandatory car insurance, home insurance or pension insurance – the K&H+ platform is also becoming increasingly popular, through which customers can easily and quickly start parking, buy public transport tickets or use cashback services: the cashback function is already used by two hundred thousand people. For foreign spending, K&H will also offer its customers a subsequent refund this summer, up to the K&H mid-rate, which can also be activated in K&H cashback. K&H is the first and only player to offer a digital SZÉP card.
