The problems with cashless payment
A British study calls attention to the problems with cashless payment: ‘Access to Cash’ informs that in the United Kingdom the proportion of cash payments is 34 percent at the moment, and it was in last year that the share of card payments was higher for the first time. It reveals that consumers living in the countryside, the elderly and the disabled can now have serious problems if they want to pay with cash in certain shops or restaurants. The study has collected the experiences of 120 organisations and states: those who want to continue using cash should be given the opportunity to do so.
