The Hungerit turns toward convenience products

The Hungerit Zrt. turns toward convenience, kitchen finished products. The Hungerit Zrt. was able to survive the crisis caused by the attack of Four Paws foundation, even  conquering new markets – Magyar József CEO told in Szentes on Thursday.

The majority owner of the company told at a press conference that the company employs 1650 people and produces 110 tons of feed per year and processing 63 thousand tons of poultry. The annual sales revenue this year may reach 43 billion HUF.

At the Szentes-based plant this year 13 million chickens, eight million ducks and 1.2 million geese will be slaughtered. The Hungerit produces 5 – 5.5 tons of red goods ie. frankfurters hams – and 8 – 8.5 tons ofs fully baked breaded products – the professional added.  (MTI)
