Coffee market also becoming price sensitive
The coffee production of the world continues to grow, the domestic market follows it, although both showed a slight weakening last year. Valdo Café compared the world trends of coffee production with its own experiences on the domestic market.
In 2009, 7.4 million kg of coffee was produced in the 49 producing countries worldwide. Although last year, due to the the crisis, a 3.5 percent decline occurred compared to 2008, the trend in production continues to increase. According to the experiences of Kaszás László, the head of Valdo; Hungarians increasingly choosing cheaper products, they cut back their costs.
