Soy milk is three times better than cow’s milk for cardiometabolic health
People who replace cow’s milk with soy milk can do a lot for their health, as the latter can reduce blood pressure, cholesterol and inflammation in the body – even in its sweetened form. After 17 trials researchers from the University of Toronto found: replacing cow’s milk with soy milk had no negative effect on the 19 cardiometabolic health markers they studied, and some participants even showed improvements. The study found a “moderate reduction” in blood pressure and “small important reductions” in “bad” LDL cholesterol and inflammation. //
