This Hungarian startup can also use its enthusiastic drone pilots against the Christmas warehouse madness
According to an international survey, no fewer than 8,200 cases of global supply chain disruption occurred in the first half of this year.
Ultimately, the difficulties in the supply of goods can be alleviated by the solution of the Hungarian Aeriu, which was recently implemented in the warehouse of a large global automotive company near Miskolc. Since Covid, we have noticed that more and more goods are missing or difficult to obtain on the market, for example, you have to wait longer for most new cars. Although in the past, either the average person or the purchasing manager of a company could find almost all the necessary goods. Today, however, supply chains have been thoroughly disrupted and are only slowly recovering. The most modern technology must be deployed in order to alleviate this enormous pressure, especially during the main transport and storage season, such as company closings and Christmas.
There is no question that the transport-warehousing industry is under increasing pressure and must be more resilient, with reports of factory fires, cyber-attacks, port disruptions and recalls in the news. This is where factory disruptions, lawsuits, strikes, company takeovers and leadership changes come. According to research published by Resilinc a few weeks ago, there were nearly 8,200 disruptions in the global supply chain in all industries by June 2023, which represents a 3% increase compared to the previous year.
The more difficult economic situation, strikes and demonstrations due to high inflation, as well as labor shortages are a big problem everywhere in the world: these kinds of disturbances represented one of the most important logistical challenges. According to the research, the above problems have increased by 136% compared to the first half of 2022.
