Christmas could not help the Czech retail
In contrast to the expected growth Czech retail voulme produced a drop in December. Seasonally adjusted, decreased by 2.1 percent compared to November and by 1.3 percent, compared to the previous December.
The Czech retail data, was a large negative surprise as the market expected an increase of 3 percent without seasonal adjustment. In 2010 as a whole Czech retail increased by only 1 percent. The recovery has started, but the pre-crisis conditions are still very far – reports portfolio.hu.
