Agricultural organizations in Central and Eastern Europe have been discussing the future of the CAP
Agricultural organizations of the Three Seas Region held their next meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania. Bulgarian, Czech, Estonian, Polish, Lithuanian, Hungarian and Slovak experts discussed the future of EU’s agricultural policy. In their joint statement, they were in favor of supporting young farmers and encouraging cooperation between producers.
Representatives of the Czech, Estonian, Polish, Lithuanian, Hungarian and Slovak Chambers of Agriculture, the Bulgarian National Grain Producers’ Association, Latvian agricultural organizations, representatives of the European Commission Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG-AGRI) held their 6th meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania on 5-6 December. The National Chamber of Agriculture was represented at the event by Losó József, president of the Food Processing Department of the public body, which was also honored by the presence of Andrius Palionis, Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture.
