6.1 percent more cereal crops harvested

6.1 percent more cereal crops, 7.2 million tons were harvested in Hungary in 2014 – on a 3.1 percent bigger area. 5.2 million tons of wheat was harvested, this is 23 percent more than the average of the last 5 years. Average yield per hectare was 4.71 tons.
