JYSK’s turnover reached a record in the 2022/23 financial year
JYSK’s turnover in the 2022/23 financial year, which ended at the end of August, increased by 6.3 percent to 38.5 billion Danish kroner (5.2 billion euros), a new record for the global home furnishing company, during which time the the number of customers in more than 3,300 stores in 48 countries increased by 1.2 million, the company told MTI on Tuesday.
It was highlighted in the announcement: Hungarian JYSK also performed well, its sales exceeded HUF 97 billion, which is a 44 percent increase compared to the 2021/2022 financial year, but this also includes the results of the logistics base in Ecser, which opened in November 2022.
JYSK has opened three new stores in Hungary in the 2022/2023 business year, so domestic customers are already welcomed in 94 stores – they write in the announcement. Sándor Szimeiszter, JYSK’s country manager responsible for Hungary, Austria and Greece, highlighted in the announcement that, despite the challenges, a unit of more than 900 square meters was opened in Nagyatád this fiscal year, and at the end of August, two new JYSK stores were opened in the Budapest agglomeration, in Solymár and Mór. . In addition to the opening of new stores, existing stores are also constantly being remodeled.
