JYSK donates 3 million forints worth of furniture to the Oncology Institute

In consultation with the management of the National Oncology Institute, it became clear that new chairs were needed in the hospital. With this in mind, JYSK Hungary donated 130 chairs to the hospital, worth a total of nearly 3 million forints, hoping to create a more comfortable, friendly environment for patients and their family members, as well as the Institute’s employees.

Healing is the specialty of doctors and healthcare workers, but a homely, more comfortable environment is also important to patients and their families – that is why it is important for every organization to provide assistance in the form in which it can really give the most.

“These chairs are not special medical devices, but they are a huge help in our everyday work. The donation allows our patients to prepare for treatments with dignity and peace. The new chairs protect the health of nurses, doctors and caregivers and improve their well-being. This donation is a tangible sign of understanding care proof”
