Environmental protection is also a consideration when choosing yogurt
When choosing and buying food, sustainability is increasingly important to consumers after price – it is revealed from the online research conducted by Nádudvari Élélmiszer Kft. on domestic yogurt consumption habits and its sustainability aspects, involving more than 4,000 people.
The participants in the survey consider the use of domestic raw materials and domestic labor to be the most significant expectation, but two-thirds of the respondents would pay more for the product if it were produced in an environmentally friendly way. These increasingly basic expectations encourage all responsible food manufacturers to pay attention. This is one of the reasons why Nádudvari is launching its new initiative called #mitehetnettöbbet, born in the spirit of sustainability and social responsibility.
Nádudvari Élélmiszer Kft. announced a long-term, multifaceted concept with the motto #mitehenetkstöbbet, which expresses the Nádudvari brand’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility, and brings together the company’s CSR activities. The reason for this is that it matters more than ever which of two product alternatives goes into the baskets, and what the given food manufacturer does for the environment. This is clearly indicated by the results of the recent sustainability research of Nádudvari.
The data of the survey reveals that 8 out of 10 consumers (86.3 percent) consider it important that the chosen food producer has sustainability aspirations. Of these, the most important are support for the disadvantaged (59%) and afforestation (39%).
