Jászság became the new center of truffles

Despite the relatively small amount of forests with the necessary conditions for truffle growth, the region has several truffle-hunting spots, thanks to the presence of Trifla orchards, which are typically created with oak trees. Private individuals and local forestry businesses in the area use dogs to help them find truffles. The truffle has an intense, slightly nutty taste and is typically harvested from late May to the end of August.
