The restaurant served primarily foreign tourists, so the Covid crisis essentially sentenced the business to death. The management of Baraka was waiting for the reopening in the spring, for which a new spring menu would have been prepared.
In the Volkswagen-Dining Guide Restaurant Guide, Baraka was ranked 21st in 2018, 19th in 2019, and 29th in the list of the top 100 Hungarian restaurants this year.
