Britain’s Co-op To Source Own-Brand Bread From Jacksons
Britain’s Co-operative Group has announced that it will source bread for its private-label range from Jacksons, a Yorkshire-based baker.
Jacksons, a sixth-generation family baking business from Hull in Yorkshire, will start supplying bread to the retailer from the spring of next year.
The retailer will also co-operate with Britain’s largest bakery brand and fifth-generation family business, Warburtons, to enable fresh daily deliveries through its logistic network and distribution hubs.
