The government complies on meat firms with the local governments

The government reviewed the issues on Gyulai Húskombinát and the meat plant of Kapuvár and Pápa in the scope of its Wednesday meeting and initates consultation for next Monday with local government leaders in order to solve the problems of the meat industry – Giró-Szász András Government Spokesperson told MTI.

Budai Gyula, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development told last week that extraordinary government measures are expected to be introduced to save the meat factory of Gyula.

On Tuesday, the ministry negotiated with meat trade union leaders on the situation of the Gyulai Húskombinát Zrt. on the planned demonstration of the meat industrial workers, that will be held on Saturday. (MTI)
