HUNGAROPACK 2010 packaging competition
There were 56 entries from 28 companies at the 27th HUNGAROPACK Hungarian Packaging Competition. The jury evaluated 51 works in the consumer and collective packaging category and 5 in the transportation packaging category. 31 entries were food industry-related, 8 were connected to cosmetics and medicinal products and 12 represented machinery and electronic devices. 16 works came with product included and 40 entered the contest simply as packaging material, without product.
This year’s contest brought the debut of different types of shelf-ready collective packaging solutions. In transportation packaging solutions focused on economical use of base material. The jury evaluated works on 30 June 2010; the five entries which scored the highest won the HUNGAROPACK prize and another 29 with high scores were awarded special prizes, while 9 works were awarded diplomas. Prize winners qualified to the WPO’s WORLDSTAR 2010 packaging competition.
