Hungaricums give the feeling of the nation, the homeland, the home
Our common mission is to preserve our traditions, identity and culture to the next generations with the help of Hungarian customs and national values. An integral part of the work of the Hungarian Festival Association is to connect us with each other, and it sets a good example in this, said Minister of Agriculture István Nagy at the conference of the Hungarian Festival Association on Tuesday.
The head of the ministry explained that it is extremely important for us, Hungarians, what we build our future on. Our traditions and values help us navigate the rapidly changing world, help us understand what the nation, homeland, and the feeling of home mean. This is what Hungarians give. He added that the most important thing is the base of the value pyramid, the collection of local traditions, the customs of the smallest settlements, the tiniest material memories, since these local values give the joy of coming home. That is why the concept of the local, settlement, county and landscape unit treasury was incorporated into the Hungarian law, he underlined.
