Service provider segment not ready for hotels' needs
Although there appears to be a strong need for hotel-related jobs, Hungary's service provider segment to perform these tasks as expected is still rather scant.
Expenes of hotel
operation are incredibly high, which naturally urges more and more
hotels to switch to outsourcing-solutions in order to spare costs.
However, it is not easy to find partners commensurate with the
hotel's facilities. „The cost of employees usually reaches at least
40 percent of a hotel's entire income, so hotels are working on
trying to reduce these costs in the first place”, István
Kovács, chief secretary of Hotel Association of Hungary
pointed out. Hotels usually set up their professional team for 50-60
percent availability, so peak-times mean a major challenge for all of
them.
