All participants at the conference were interested in the direction of change resulting from the increasing use of IT. Experts from Edcon, Casino and Edeka reported their experiences related to the effects of IT on business practices. Participants also visited stores of the following chains: Carrefour, Casino and Galeries Lafayette Gourmet.
