Less sales in small stores, in the hypermarkets the result is not so negative
In June the fall of retail sales continued. Compared to the previous month the volume of retail sales adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects fell by 0.4%. It is 3.6% less as in the same period of the previous year.
The
half of the total sales, HUF 250billion is in the food sector. There is not such
a big decrease, only 0,8% on y/y basis, but the was HUF 20 billion decrease in
the first half year at the book, newspaper and paper products sales.
