The food price increase can reach seven percent within a few months

Up to 7 percent food price increases may come by the end of the year. According to the industry: without raising there is no future in the industry, and the trade also begins to recognize: we have to accept the fact of the price increase.

“Hungary should prepare the food price explosion” – Orbán Viktor justified the establishment of a working group that will work to develop responses. The team of experts will come from the Ministry of Rural Development and the Ministry of National Economy. The working group starts to work from 1 October, and it is scheduled that in the next 2-3 months they will develop suggestions to the government – Ministry of Rural Development told Világgazdaság, adding that the Ministry of Rural Development will continuously consult on the topic with the Ministry of National Economy and with professional organizations.   (Braunmüller Lajos, Világgazdaság)
