Henkel stepped onto a better position on the list of the world's largest companies
Henkel improved 20 places to the 448th place on the 500 list of american Fortune magazine in the rankings of the companies with the largest turnover, furthermore the first time this year Henkel is on the the list of companies achieving the highest prices
The American business magazine Fortune, publishes every year, the list of the world’s 500 companies with the largest turnover called Global Fortune 500. Henkel's 448th place is the best result since 2001.
On the basis of the 2008 financial year, the leader of the list is Royal Dutch Shell with a 458 billion USD in revenue, in front of Exxon Mobil (443 billion USD in revenue) and Wal-Mart (406 billion USD in revenue).
The United States has 140 companies on the list, while Japan has 68, France 40 and. Germany has 39 companies on the fourth place.
