Henkel wants to become climate neutral by 2040
Henkel has published its 29th sustainability report, which reveals that the company had increased the efficiency of its business operations by 56 percent by the end of 2019. For instance, Henkel utilises 28 percent less water per one ton of product made than in 2010. In order to become carbon neutral by 2040, Henkel plans to reduce its carbon footprint by 65 percent by 2025. The company’s goal is to substitute all fossil fuels used in production with a climate-neutral alternative.
