Go with the flow or conscious career building? How to continue after university? What does it take to stand your ground anywhere in the world? Is dedication enough or do you need an outstanding personality? On September 26, HEINEKEN Hungária Zrt.’s HR Director, Anita Kiss, and the company’s Marketing Director, Katalin Perényi, discussed these issues on the Brain Bar Talent Hub stage, sharing their personal and professional experiences, as well as an exciting career opportunity, with the twenty-year-old audience.
HEINEKEN’s international internship program was also launched in Hungary this year, offering young people starting their careers an exceptional opportunity – specifically in the field of trade and marketing here – to gain comprehensive experience and develop management skills. The trainee admitted to the three-year program will be able to work on leading brands such as Heineken, Soproni or Gösser, but the intensive program guarantees international experience already in the first year. The company’s undisclosed goal is to train future senior managers with the initiative.
Katalin Perényi’s personal experience was not only a live example of the program’s success for the audience, but also clearly demonstrated its long-term value, as she built her international career through it, gaining experience in Africa, Austria, England and Amsterdam.
