The average price in domestic food stores increased by 5 percent
The average price in food stores in Hungary increased by 5 percent during the first quarter of 2013, compared to the same period of last year.
In Europe the average rate of price increase was 3 percent. In this period the revenue of food stores grew by an average of 2 percent in Hungary, while in the examined 21 European countries with an average of three percent.
The average prices, increased the most in Turkey with 9 percent on a quarterly comparision, followed by Hungary and the Netherlands with 5-5 percent, than Finland, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, with both 4 percent.
